OUTLOOK EXPRESS - DATE FORMAT ON EMAILS

I have Outlook Express 6.

When reading or printing an email received the date format is as follows:
Thursday April 2009 06:41
ie ddd mmm yyyy and time.

I would like to have ddd dd mmm yyyy and time.
ie including the actual date of the email.

Where do I go to change the format? I can't find the edit field anywhere.

Welcome to Lockergnome.

I think Outlook Express will take the date format you have on your system. If you like to have it in the date, month and year format, you will need to change it via Control Panel > Regional and Language Options. That should make the change in OE6 also.

Another little "Gotcha" is that some settings in O.E.6 are not actually in O.E.6
they are in I.E. , like for instance, the text size.
That one drove me crazy till someone pointed me in the right direction.
So I changed the text size in I.E. and sure enough, it changed the text size in O.E. too. Who would have thunk it?
