Hello, I'm Artaea, but you can call me Art.
I'm in the process of creating a site for my webcomic. Essentially, I don't even know where to begin.
Now, naturally we're going to need a site...but I know next to nothing about HTML and absolutely nothing about PHP. What development tools out there are relatively intuitive and user friendly?
I plan on using CUSP, which purportedly boasts a template system. Does that mean I can grow and edit it into a whole website, or is it something to be used in tandem with a developed website?

Thanks for your patience.

I don't know about CUSP specifically, but it looks a Content Management System tailored specifically for web comics. Their demo was broken when I visited so it's hard to get a full picture of what it does, but it appears to handle everything without you needing to know HTML or PHP.

Since it's Open Source, I'd try it out and see if it fits your needs. If it doesn't, there are many popular CMS's written in PHP you can use.

Ah, that makes sense...so it's more like an addon or plugin for a website. Looks like it's back to figuring out HTML.
