I'll put teflon tape to the feet of my mouse for extra glide, but what other mouse pad should I get?

*Razer Goliathus Speed Edition
*Razer eXactMat Bundle Pack (speed + control side including wrist rest)
And since ppl claim that it wears your mouse down, I got teflon tape so I'm covered.

Only give me the pro's + con's of those 2, don't go listing your own! I've made up my mind, one of those 2 only.

Sorry, without links, I don't have the time to research those two.

But in the most general terms, a mouse pad for me must have a cloth surface that's smooth, usually made from some synthetic fabric that the mouse will literally FLOAT over.
Then the backing of the pad should be (must be) heavy enough and tacky enough so it will stay put on the desk and not go sliding around while I'm playing a game against the clock. My ideal mouse pad should also be washable.

I see so many people with those 1/8" thick, slick plastic mouse pads that want to slide right off the desk. Horrible! Simply horrible.

I found the perfect pad for me at the Computer Warehouse in Orlando for just $1 each. Last time I was there, I bought ten of them. I give them as bonus gifts to my customers who don't have a decent mouse pad.

I guess this post didn't meet your criteria, but maybe it will help someone else, someday, on down the road. Idea

Good Luck on your search.

Hello,

The Razer Goliathus Speed Edition is a cloth mouse pad and the Razer eXactMat is an aluminum one.

I would suggest you get the one which you feel will be most comfortable for you to use long term with your Logitech MX15 Gaming Grade Optical Mouse.

Of course, you could also try contacting Logitech and asking them which mouse pad is a better surface for use with that particular model of mouse.

Regards,
