Need to find an answer to this problem.
A friend of mine recently installed Suse10.2. There is a minor irritant with the screen wanting to go blank after about a minute of inactivity. It is always right after bootup and screensaver.
It is as if the monitor has powered down. I looked in the display settings under power management and the checkmark is unchecked.
That is really the only place I know to look.
Can anyone help. |

The problem was found, it was an oversight on my part. Thanks anyway. |

Went through these steps, the problem is still there. It is as if the monitor is in a sleep mode, but what if it is a harddrive. Can a harddrive give the similar symptoms? Where are the hdd settings. |

Try this...
Click on the power management & slide all the sliders to THE LEFT, then click pm back off. Plus make sure the screensaver is off, too. This worked for me! |
