Same old Microsoft Mickey Mouse-Windows 7

I'm running the Windows 7 release candidate. When I downloaded it it gave me a product activation key which I used to install it.

Now I'm getting activation requests and when I type in that key it tells me it is not a valid key. OK, no problem, they have a list of activation keys on the website, right? I request a key and it gives me the same key I already have. Maybe I typed it wrong? Try again. Double check. Nope, still not right.

Is this really necessary with a beta release???????????????????????????????????????????????????

I found a page of activation numbers. One of them worked.

The best place for Windows 7 support is the Windows 7 Forum.

I expressed a need for an activation key for my Win-7, RC1 and within minutes I had several PM's with whole lists of usable keys.

You can always get what you need if you look in the right place.

Anyone and everyone who is testing Windows 7 should be a regular visitor to the Windows 7 Forum. That's where the Experts are.
