Microsoft emailed me that my website had been moved from Microsoft Live Office beta to official release this week but when I tried to sign in I got this message "In order to use Microsoft Office Live, you will need to have Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or later running on Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Microsoft Windows Server 2003" . I have contacted them twice about this but haven't received a response. I have been using IE6 with 98 since I got that account last May. The OS shouldn't matter since the browser makes the connection. The only reason I can see that they would do this is because they want me to buy XP. If that's the case then I, and I am sure many other people. will be making a big stink about this. Mark.

You can see my Microsoft Live Office website at: http://luem42.com but to see this weeks COOLSITES newsletter go to my backup website at: http://luem42.googlepages.com/

You don't seem to get it.....they have upgraded their program and it's no longer compatible with an OS that they no longer support, for 9 months now.

IE6 is only half the program,,,,,the rest of the program is the OS itself.
Windows Explorer, to be more specific.

People who are unwilling to upgrade to currently supported OS's are just going to be left behind.

It's that simple.

Sorry Crying or Very sad
