I am trying to make message rules for those pesky emails about Viagra, Rolex, etc. I've made a rule where if the message of the body contains certain words (like Viagra, Rolex) it should automatically be put into my Delete folder. Well, it's not working! It seems pretty straight forward, but there must be something I'm missing that I just can't put my finger on! Can anyone help me get a message rule to work. I'm so tired of these emails!!!

Wish we could see a "snapshot" of the rule to see exactly how you have it set up. Anyway, did you try changing the rule to the key words appearing in the header? You can have both. Another reason that the rules may not always work, is that one day you'll se Viagra. You block that and the next time it's V-igra. The next day it's Vi-gra. You have to block the sites. Even that doesn't always work - they change the spelling of the "From" header by one letter! I had ISP spam-blocking (got rid of that, another story), plus my own spam-blocker, and still get 5-10 spam a day! The only way out is to change your e-mail address name and get off the list (good for a few weeks!). My e-mail name is "micker377". I get spam addressed to many spellings of that name, until one connects. Next time you get a spam (won't be long!), RIGHT click on the message and left click on properties. Go to the tab "details". See all the people it is addressed to. Click on "Message Source". Go full screen to see what the message is all about. This allows you to "read" the message, without actually going to the spam site. This also allows you to see if it really is from the Bank, or a fake message! I do this anytime I am suspicious.
