Try LIBRARYOFCONGRESS.COM under the photographic section...I have tons of Photos that I use for desktop and Ive made quite a few screensavers...
They have everything from the Wright Bros. camp @ Kitty Hawk to moon landings...Also check out the advertisments from the turn of the century... Aand if youre into maps they have all kinds from Lewis and Clark to early flat world maps...
