Laptop problems

Good evening,

I'm writing for your help since you've helped in the past...

This time, the problem I have is with my brothers laptop. For some reason, it seems to shut up the moment you log into an account on it. I don't mean it shuts down, it just clicks off imediately after starting to load. Im thinking this may be the work of nasties on the computer. I can get it to start in safe mode and also with networking sometimes.

Im trying to use some of the checkers on it, but for some reason, it doesnt seem to be keeping the programs installed, it installs, then the files seem to vanish and not open up,

any help would be great,

Hi Lee, did you run the other scanners to see if they pick up anything? I don't see anything suspicious here except MyWebSearch which you can uninstall via the Add/Remove Programs panel.

Go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix and follow the instructions on how to install the Recovery Console and run ComboFix. Go through all the steps until posting the log part. Post the combofix log here.
