I didn't notice it until i turned on my laptop. I was using my lcd liquid cleaner, i had used it a lot of times already, but this is the first time this happened.
What should i do? Will the stain evaporate? Or will i have to take it to the shop?

I can't really tell anything from the picture but it LOOKS to be fried.
How did "water" get in it in the first place? Did the rest of the computer get wet?

I fear you may be screwed... & may have to replace AT LEAST the screen.
Can you provide a better (in focus) pic? And more details as to what happened?

It looked to me like the camera had water damage too. Water spots all over the picture.

Did the camera and the laptop go thru the same downpour? Rolling Eyes

Hello,

The LCD has been damaged and will need to be replaced. Usually, this type of damage is not covered under warranty, but it does not hurt to ask.

Generally speaking, when cleaning an LCD or CRT screen, the device should be off and you just put enough cleaning fluid on the cleaning cloth to make it damp, not wet.

That's been the monitor cleaning instruction for thirty years.

NEVER spray any liquid on a monitor screen!!!

If it runs down inside the monitor it can get into the electronics and short something out.

Always spray the cleaner on a soft rag and wipe the screen, gently.

And I'll add - use distilled water, especially on NON - CRT screens (I E - LCD, PLASMA, ect)
