Well this is more about the subwoofer my comp specs and stuff don't really mater to this
i was running my speaker 1/3 the way and my base about the same for about 30 minutes and the base just stoped working
well what really messed me up is the fuse
i use a multi meter and it say its working then it doesn't so i guess that the fuse is screwed up but at the same time time i think i might have had a problem with another thing in my base because the fuse doesn't look like it was bad
so if any of u know of anything else that could have gone wrong will u please tell me thanxs for everything in advanced
tomorrow i am going to buy a new fuse to test it out i will post if it worked or not and i am sorry if i am posting at the wrong place but this is the only help forum i could find

Hello,
Do you have a speaker system or media center, another PC with a soundcard or a friend with a PC and a soundcard to check if the fuse really causes all this?
If the subwoofer works fine then, I should take a look at you soundcard.

I am at school right now still don't have the fuse only about 3 hours intill i get it
my sound card is my mobo so i really don't have a sound card, yea i know that sucks, and i forgot to say the speakers work fine but the subwoofer doesn't
i don't know the difference between a speaker system and a media center all i have is 2 speakers and one subwoofer
and i don't have any friends with sounds cards i plan on buying a cheap one as sone as i get a new graphixs though any that u might recond that are cheap and good
and what i meand when i said that i checked the fuse with a multi meter is that it sometimes reads curent going trough and sometimes doesn't so i guess the fuse is f^
thanxs for the reply Ehwaz001
UPDATE
OK just tryed a new fuse it won't work but when i checked the sound control it won't let me turn on the bass up or down
the fuse is ok so its not a problem with that i tryed 2 different ones
WTF i have no idea whats wrong i think it might be my inbuild sound card
any sugestions i am up for trying just about anything now

Hello,
Try to find a cheap soundcard and build this into your PC. Go to the BIOS and disable your onboard audio (most of the time this is indicated as the AC'97 sound card), reboot and install the drivers in the operating system. See if this helps.

BTW, if it doesn't try changing cables.
