Post subject: Kazaa lite
HAs any1 heard of KAzaa lite? Some guy hacked kazaa and took out all the spy/ad ware. it works just like kazaa and i ran spybot and adaare and it came up with nothing (except for some coockies and bonzi buddy which i need to run imesh)

Kazaa lite is a hack version of Kazaa. So doesn't need the spyware etc. So you now will be downloading copyright material using a illegaly modofied program.

You'd be better using a client that didn't have the spyware there in the first place. SpywareInfo has a good list.

I have been using it for some time and have recently upgraded to ver 2, before this I tried several others because I didn't know about the lite version of Kazaa. Since I started using it I have had far better results than any of the others I tried. As far legal or ilegal downloads that occurs with any of these sort of programs.
It all depends on the users to be careful that they do not put ilegal copies in their share folder.

Peer to peer file sharing is great there is no-one in the middle interfering. Smile
