John McCain plans to give the oil companies a huge tax break. He plans to give other rich people tax breaks too. Barack Obama plans to give tax breaks to the poor. The poor need the tax breaks. Not the rich.

Sarah Palin unlawfully fired a man because he refused to fire her ex brother-in-law as a state trapper. She abused her power and that's not a good quality for a potential Vice President to have.

Many people have lost their jobs because of this recession. If McCain wins, the recession will most likely continue and many more people will lose their jobs. You may or may not agree that McCain isn't a good choice. If you disagree and later have to go to the unemployment office, you will agree.

Obama wants to end the war. McCain wants to continue the war. Do you want this war to drag on for the next four to eight years? No, I don't believe that you do. Do you want to turn on your television and hear about more of our soldiers dying? No, you don't. A vote for McCain is a vote to continue the war and the recession.

Tax cuts for... the poor? That would be... below middle class, correct? In 2006, (which is AFTER the Bush tax cuts) the bottom 50% of people paid 2.99%. This 50% is people who make less than $31,000 a year. While... the top 25% of people paid 86.27% of the taxes. Now, do you remember that stimulus check you got a while back for filing taxes this year? What did you do with it? Probably, like most people, you spent it. You stimulated the economy by spending. Now... if the government TAKES more money from you are you more likely to spend more or spend less to help cover your loss? I'm not rich. I'm a college teenager. I don't have enough knowledge about the state-trooper thing to debate you on that topic. However, Obama plans to add $3 trillion in more spending... WHERE is that money coming from? Oh I don't know, where does government get most of its money, oh right. US. There was a reason the economy BOOMED after Reagan made the (then) biggest tax-cut in U.S. history. Tax cuts stimulate an economy, tax increases don't. Just my 2-4 cents. EDIT: Link to tax percentages: http://www.ntu.org/main/page.php?PageID=6
