Yesterday, I was attempting to install the program to run my Verizon internet air card. At the end of the installation process, the program froze. So, I closed the program and attempted to reinstall it. However, when I try to do so, it says "The file \menu.ini could not be opened."
I went into the control panel options to try to delete the existing corrupted file. However, when I try to do so it says "Could not open INSTALL.LOG" file.
I then tried to delete the program using EasyCleaner 2.0. However, it prompts me saying it was unable to write the delete code.
How do I go about removing the old program or enabling myself to install the program correctly?

Did you check to see if you have a restore point you can roll back to?

Also, CCleaner comes to mind as a remover plus two other programs mentioned elsewhere on this forum (just search this area).

If that doesn't get it, & others on here don't have any better ideas, a reg. hack or a total reinstall may be in order. Crying or Very sad

My first stop would be to email Verizon tech support since they supply the software you are trying to install. They would probably know more about it than those of us who have never used the software.
They may even have a cleanup tool to remove anything remaining from a bad/partial install.

I prefer to either email tech support or do a live chat simply because the support is better. I don't have to hang on the phone waiting and then ask the person on the other end to repeat what was said because I sometimes have a hard time with the accent.

Don't think because it is Verizon that support will be in the US. My mom has Comcast cable and my husband called for help. He ended up talking to someone in the Philippines.

Have you tried Move on Boot?

You can find it here.

I have had good results with this program when it comes to stubborn files.

Good Luck
