Internet in Mexico

Hi--I will be going to Mexico this winter, & want my internet. I will be in a small town on the Pacific Ocean side of Baja, about half way between the U.S. boarder, & Cabo. As of now, I don't believe they have a cell phone tower, so I am guessing that satellite is what I am looking at. I don't know much about them, as far as cost, dependability, etc. goes. I am hoping that some of you out there can give me a little info on this. If it all costs too much money, I may spend 3 months without the internet. I would hate to do that. Thanks for any info.

Have you checked to see if the town has an Internet cafe? If so, perhaps you can get a connection there.

I understand that it has a dial up internet cafe, but I am hoping for a solution that I can use at home & that is faster. If I cant't find anything, I will use the cafe.
