1) I understand there will be WIFI. I have an 802.11B Card already. Will I be forced to RENT one of the suppliers cards to access their Access Points or will it be truly FREE if I bring my card.

2) What will the seating setup be like. I intend to bring my laptop to use during the conference for notes and such. Will it be in my lap? Or will their be tables setup for us Power Users Wink

3) If they do have tables, what are the power arrangements? Will I be on battery power or are these the conference tables I've seen with power strips attached? Would it benefit me to bring a small extension cord also, to give me a little more room?

I am just trying to get an idea for what it will be like. I am lucky enough to live 10 minutes from the Convention Center and already registered, so I'm coming no matter what. Just wondering how comfortable it will be

Thanks for any information.

Big Tim

From Lori:

1) Yes, it is truly free. :)

2) There are tables for them to set up in the main speaker / session room.

3) Unfortunately, there would be a $50 power charge (per power strip/extension cord supplied)... so, no power is available for laptops. Extension cords are a no-no because they are tripping hazards which is why the PCCC can "enforce" the $50 power charge.
