Does anyone know of a freeware programme that will put icons (.ico) into libraries (.icl or even .dll). (Vista compatible).
There seem to be lots that will extract the icons from libraries as .ico but I can only find pay software that will put icons into libraries.
I happen to like having icon libraries, they're so much neater than a load of individual files, somehow.
I just don't like them enough to jusify paying $20 for the privilege.

Have you looked at Microsoft Visual Studio Express Edition? It is free and can be downloaded from Microsoft's web site at http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/.

That seems to have lots of programming languages (i'm bagging BASIC, I think I have time to play around with that. Razz ) But doesn't help with my little issue.
