I was trying to find somewhere that would give me my real internet address so I could configure my computer for gaming. My friend uses IPFinger (www.ipfinger.com) so I went there

I visited the website and it's weird. They not only show my ip address, but they also know what city and country I live in. They also showed a map that points to my house.

How is this possible? How do they know where I live?

Hello,

My guess would be some sort of GeoIP package.

Your ISP can resolve the IP down to your physical address (especially if it's static). It's not uncommon for software packages (like GeoIP) to be able to locate your City and Country though. If you're worried about it then you'd need to look into accessing the Internet through a proxy, but that might limit your ability to accept connections for some online games.
