I just booked mine - a Rodeway Inn in South Lake Tahoe about three blocks away from Harrah's and the CA - NV state line for about $250 CDN for the three nights (that's about $188 in that funny coloured money you use down there
). They are a national chain and it has a heated pool and high speed Internet (wired - thank you very much
). There are lots of reasonably priced motels within stumbling distance of Harrah's on the CA side - check out Expedia.com or similar sites.
