Have you tried Microsoft's beta spyware remover?

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...en&Hash=MJ4HC3C

See if that helps. Smile

Take a look at your own Log.
Look at how many programs you have in the RUN list.
I absolutely KNOW that you don't need all those things running all the time.
It appears for instance that you have Norton System Works. That's probably the all time greatest system hog on the market.

Then it also appears that you're using AOL....I hope you're not using ver 9. Another huge system resource hog, and some very invasive software.

Next I see a reference to Incredimail. Last I knew, Incredimail does not work with AOL.
De-install it.

Next, your references to Anti-Spyware programs were very vague and I suspect you're not running the Right Stuff.
Go to My Webpage
and download my list of preferred protection software. If you're going to use Spybot Search & Destroy, first download my Setup Instruction. If that program is not set up properly, it will not run effectively. At the minimum, I suggest you download and run AdAware SE/Personal, Spybot Search & Destroy and replace Norton with AVG7 FREE.
As soon as you install any new program, get all the updates for it. Then run the scans.

Then run MSCONFIG from your RUN box and de-select everything not absolutely needed to be running all the time. Yes, shut down all Norton funtions. Your Win Modem requires Carpserv, so leave that running.

Your problem is very fixable, but you have to be very dilligent to get the whole job done. And you may have to bite the bullet, so to speak, de-installing some things that you may think you need. (but really don't)

I work on problem systems like yours for a living. I'd love to get my hands on yours for about three or four hours. You'd be amazed at the improvements that can be made.

Wishing you all the best,
The Shadow B)

PS:
I almost forgot.....you've got Wintools.
This is spyware at its best, and I don't know of any anti-spyware program currently removing it.
De-Install it yourself in SAFE mode.
Side Search is also Spyware.
Good Luck,
The Shadow B)
