Help with the Sims 2 Open For Business???

Hi, I cannot install my Sims 2 Open for business game properly. Once The sims 2 updater box pops up, it says: insert sims 2 CD 4.
What is this? I thought I have the Sims 2 DVD version to download the game even, but I do not recall having 4 disks to install the regular Sims 2 game
or maybe I just lost them because once you install the game, you use The Sims 2 Disk 1, for play on the computer. Can you help?

Hello flexigurl9 and welcome to Lockergnome!

First thing to try is updating your installation of Sims 2 with the latest patch and then try installing the expansion pack.

How can you update the installation by dowloading the patch for the Sims 2 Open for business??? is there a website for it?

Update the Sims2 before you install the Open for Business expansion.

I'm having a problem with the sims 2 open for business installing. I gets upto 99% and then it says there's something in the ts2bin or something but, I know its an executable file and it's saying that it's not going to install. I've tried imaging the disk, i've tried extracting the contents of a disk by creating a folder and such and the same information keeps popping up, even disabling stuff like nero image and such still won't get it to work.... I don't know why it's doing that... can someone help Sad
