Heard Rumor?

Now i heard this rumor and am wondering if their is any truth to it?

1.

steve balmer? will start a new techtv like him and paul allen did with the other one.

2.

our own lockergnome leader chris has moved to seatlle washington
and kevin rose has quit the g4 channel and is talking with the old hosts from the old techtv?

is there any truth to the rumor they are getting together to hammer out a new style for a new tech tv channel and all are going to be host's on that channel.

I guess G4/TechTV has got to be happy with the current performance of their TV channel.
I gave up watching that Channel right around the time that CP moved on out on to greener pastures.
Timing (for both CP and me) could not have been better organized!
This timing alo coincided with when TechTV website decided to start utilizing tracking cookies and too many ads and pop-ups.

For me, TechTV lost its edge and rawness that had made it very enjoyable/entertaining viewing (ScreenSavers and such), even when the topic discussed was like a PC-101 course.
IMHO, they had to appease the conglomerates and their ad-base by attempting to make TechTV too polished and too politically correct.
At around this time, some of their other Host gurus started getting (and thinking they were) larger than life.
Too bad for that! :thumbdown:

well i know chris moved, and you confirmed it sip.

i also know kevin is out of g4 tv now. as this is part of the message he sent in his email newsletter.

Chris may or may not ever return to TV (he'd have to compete with Travelocity's garden gnome) but his latest broadcast venture is The Chris Pirillo Show, live on Thursday nights 7-10PM Pacific time. It features live call-in (1-888-pirillo) for your questions and comments, and in 2 weeks will be broadcast live from Gnomedex. Jake says he's going to interview everyone there for 3 minutes. :w00t-x100: That alone ought to be pretty interesting. By the way, Gnomdex is sold out.

well this rumor is partly right

they put call for help back on g4 and they have leo and kevin rose on it. :w00t: :thumbup:

i have had posts removed too by moderator and it is not fairly done as there are posts that do need taken down that don't get taken down.
so it is how the moderator's tastes are in other words it is not run by the fox news channel.
