So for about a month know net speed has come to a crawl once again (Gotta blame the other fam members Very Happy), and I've been running a plethora of anti-malware recently. I haven't been around for a bit so I'd expect a somewhat dirty PC. The blue screen of death has also made a comeback, usually when running Anti-malware programs. I ran Kaspersky and it found 20 infected files; 1 Trojan, 1 email virus, a few malware/spyware and a couple other things. I also ran Spybot, Ad-Aware, Spyware Doctor, and Bazooka Scanner, all of which found a decent amount of spyware. I used CCleaner to delete all the temp net files. And each time I rerun an anti-spyware prog it still finds more. So if you guys could help me narrow it down it would be great. My HJT Log is posted below.

Keep your antivirus program to one only Wink Uninstall Kaspersky or Avast. I recommend uninstalling both of them since they both seem to be having problems there. Make sure you have the antivirus install file handy. Disconnect your computer from the internet and then uninstall. Restart the computer and then reinstall the one you want to keep back. Connect back to the internet.

Uninstall Ewido and install the latest version (now called AVG AntiVirus) here.

Please print the below instructions or copy them to Notepad.

Restart your computer and boot into Safe Mode (if you don't know how, go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?showtutorial=61 ). Make sure to close any internet browsers that may still be open.

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if found:

MediaGateway

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following if they still exist and hit 'Fix Checked' after you checked the last one:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {CA4F0D8D-5F2B-4F16-838A-8D52249EAB21} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\opnmlmn.dll (file missing)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MediaGateway] C:\Program Files\MediaGateway\MediaGateway.exe
O20 - Winlogon Notify: opnmlmn - opnmlmn.dll (file missing)

Locate the following Files/Folders and delete them if they exist (if no location given, just do a search for them):

C:\Program Files\MediaGateway\

Restart.

1. Download combofix at http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
2. Double-click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.

Note:
Do not click on combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall.

Run a new HijackThis scan and post the new log here.

Please print the below instructions or copy them to Notepad.

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if found:

QdrDrive

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following if they still exist and hit 'Fix Checked' after you checked the last one:

O2 - BHO: BndBlock4 BHO Class - {8F9E2BE3-766D-4831-BB0E-766D5B819995} - C:\Program Files\QdrDrive\QdrDrive9.dll
O23 - Service: Security Service (VFVO) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\svcd\svchost.exe (file missing)

Go to Start->Run and type in notepad and hit OK. Then copy and paste the following into Notepad:

sc stop VFVO
sc delete VFVO
del delete.bat

Save the file as "delete.bat". Make sure to save it with the quotes. Double click on it.

Locate the following Files/Folders and delete them if they exist (if no location given, just do a search for them):

C:\Program Files\QdrDrive\
C:\WINDOWS\system32\svcd\

Restart the computer.

Download Deckard's System Scanner at http://deckard.geekstogo.com/dss.exe to your Desktop.

- Close all applications and windows.
- Double-click on DSS.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
- The scan may take a minute. When the scan is complete, two text files will open - Main.txt and Extra.txt

Note: When running DSS, some firewalls may warn that sigcheck.exe is trying to access the internet - please ensure that you allow sigcheck.exe permission to do so. Also, it may happen that your Antivirus flags DSS as suspicious. Please allow the Deckard's System Scanner to run and don't let your Antivirus delete it. In this case, it may be better to temporary disable your Antivirus.

Post the main.txt and extra.txt from the C:\Deckard\System Scanner folder into your next reply.

Also post a new HijackThis log here when ready.

Most of everything ran smoothly this round. I couldn't find QdrDrive in the Add/Remove Panel though. I also found folders called QdrModule and QdrPack in my program files as well.

Print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should NOT have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

Do you know what this program is used for?
C:\Program Files\RcvSystem\httpdchk.dll

If not, I want you to upload this file (C:\Program Files\RcvSystem\httpdchk.dll) to http://virusscan.jotti.org and report back what it found.

Uninstall FunWebProducts, Viewpoint Media Player and Internet Speed Monitor via the Add/Remove Programs panel.

Delete the following:

C:\Documents and Settings\VTMet\Application Data\FunWebProducts
C:\Program Files\FunWebProducts
C:\WINDOWS\system32\CID
C:\WINDOWS\system32\SvcNm
C:\winevzq.exe
C:\Program Files\QdrPack
C:\Program Files\QdrModule
C:\Program Files\ISM
C:\spoolerlogs

Download VundoFix at http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4 and save it to your desktop.
- Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
- Click the Scan for Vundo button.
- Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
- You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files. Click Yes.
- Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
- When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer. Click OK.
- Post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt here.

NOTE: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot. Simply follow the above instructions starting from Click the Scan for Vundo button when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

Try downloading combofix again and run it. It should work now.

Post the combofix log here along with a new HijackThis log.
