Hello,

You should probably wait to hear back from one of the HijackThis Log experts, but I did notice the following entries which may be of concern:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = hXXp://search.conduit.com?SearchSource=10&ctid=CT2475029

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1

O2 - BHO: CDNSCacheObj Object - {376892AE-1825-4E5F-9F85-23F9640051CC} - C:\WINDOWS\XviDplg.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Policies\Explorer\Run: [Policies] C:\WINDOWS\system32\spynet\server.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Policies\Explorer\Run: [Policies] C:\WINDOWS\system32\spynet\server.exe

O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - hXXp://tbedits.weatherblink.com/one-toolbaredits/menusearch.jhtml?s=10...0413&am

O16 - DPF: {1D4DB7D2-6EC9-47A3-BD87-1E41684E07BB} - hXXp://ak.exe.imgfarm.com/images/nocache/funwebproducts/ei-4/ZwinkyIni...lSetup1

There are many entries in there I don't recognize, though.

One thing I did note was that you were running Symantec's PC Tools Security product. Since you are using their security software, you may want to contact Symantec's PC Tools division for further assistance in reviewing the log and recovering from the infestation.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky
