Google Hijack!

hi, i have been on google and other sites and noticed when i click on links sometimes and google searches i will be redirected to either a xxxx site or an ad. AVG came up with nothing and i can't load spybot for unknown reasons.

i have hijack this but i really don't know what to do with it.
I know a bit about computers but in this area i know nothing please help.

Please try to follow the steps outlined here. If you have problems accessing any of those sites to download the files, do the following and it should fix the problem:

Right click on My Computer and go to Properties. Then go to the Hardware tab and click on Device Manager. Go to View > Show hidden devices. Then go to Non-Plug and Play Drivers and expand it. Look for TDSservs.sys and when found, right click on it and choose Disable. See if you can download the security programs now.

I to have had similiar problems with my google search bar. When i type searches and click on suggested links i am redirected, either to companies selling items or xxx sites. I have also recently discovered search my criteria of an explicit nature in which i have not entered myself!!!

Is this a virus? and what can i do? as my anti-virus doesn't seem to flag anything.
