Hi,
Wonder if anyone have invitation to give away.
Want one because I am trying to move away from the 'new' yahoo web mail and unfortunately no gmail SMS sign up is available in Canada.
Thanks a lot in advance for anyone who can help.

hello yet another forum n00bie here
if anyone would like a gmail invite ..you can email me at line6.basshead AT gmail.com with a returning email address and I'll send you off a freshly baked invite. I think I still have 100 so if 100 of you would like one 100 I will send.
Take Care,
STanger
<edit>I'm sure this has been asked before, but why doesn't the post reply button at the botom of the page not work?</edit> |

***** All requests for Gmail invitations must be placed in this topic - just hit the "reply" button to post your request *****
Please note: when you make a request for a Gmail invitation to be sent to your current email address, please leave out the @ symbol & replace it with something else such as (AT). This will help prevent your address from being harvested by the "spam-bots" which spammers use to find email addresses on the web.
If you don't want to display your email address, just ask for someone to PM you so they can get your email address to send the invitation to.
Any LG Forums member is welcome to respond to a request for an invitation (just make sure you reply in this thread when you have sent an invite).
Also, because people with Gmail accounts have a limited amount of invitations they can send, it would be very much appreciated if those who do get a Gmail account by requesting in this topic "return the favor" & send out some invites to those who make requests in future.

What is Gmail?
Gmail is a free, search-based webmail service that combines the best features of traditional email with Google's search technology. Gmail makes locating messages so easy that you'll never need to shuffle mail in your inbox again. Besides offering an entirely new way of reading and tracking messages, Gmail includes more than 2,500 megabytes of storage space - that's over two gigabytes. And on top of that, we'll keep giving you more space as we're able. Best of all, it's free.

gMail is actually just another free web-based email. It's a lot more flexible and has a lot more options than Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo, etc. Also, with Microsoft stopping access to Hotmail for email clients, there's a gap in the market that can be filled by gMail.
I recommend that all Hotmail users who want to check their email with an email client switch over to it.
Also, since it's so popular, there's thousands of people finding thousands of ways to use it. The most popular (IMO) is to use it as an online hard drive - that way you can store up to 1 gB of files and can access them anywhere there's web access. |
