Hey folks, was thinking of starting up a gmail account and thought that Google still sent codes via text messaging. usasma via a few PMs back and forth set me straight on that.

The reason I am looking at Gmail is because my current ISP (Comcast) is becoming infamous at blacklisting other ISPs for really minor issues. I am a gamer that works within a structure that includes many different types of email systems, some of which Comcast does not like. I have put up with this for over a year but enough is enough.

I have seen many great things about Gmail on the internet but never so many supporting statements as I have seen in these forums today. After joining Lockergnome, I must say I was more than impressed at the techno expertise that exists here. I plan to point many of my online friends to this site when they have related issues in the future.

All that said, I come holding out a hat. Can any of you please invite me to the wonderful world of Gmail? I will greatly appreciate any that can assist me.

I need to say this again cause I just found another answer to a problem I have been having lately on these forums. LOL all.. even if I dont get the Gmail invite, this fix to my video system was worth joining.

My email is tacrtc (AT) yahoo.com (Yeah usasma, I know I sent a different email to you but this is basic security stuff. Not going to plaster my primary in an open forum. Based on what I have seen from you here, you would advise the same)

If any of you can help me out I would be grateful.

Well, I never did get around to sending out a gmail invite to you like I said that I'd try to do (lot's of stuff going on at home right now!).

So, I've sent one to the yahoo address (after being reminded by your post here).

Check your Junk/Bulk mail folder if it doesn't show up in your Inbox.
