| I go to quite a few forums and from reading the comments on these, no one ever received the free USB drive from MS.
The only thing that you missed was waiting for something that never came and giving MS your name and mailing address.

Hello,
I have found the best way to get free marketing materials from Microsoft is to attend their partner newsletters. When a new product or service is announced, go to the conference and you'll typically get a back with some free items in it like pens, paper pads, t-shirt or hat, USB keys, flashlights, LCD clocks, demo versions of software and so forth.
Regards,
