Click this link: http://www.microsoft.com//windowsxp/myster...rp/default.mspx Then click "VALUABLE INFORMATION" on the right side of the screen, to have Microsoft send you a free USB2 flash memory device filled with product liturature. It's a free USB drive!!! you can delete all the information included on the drive if you wish and use it as your personal USB drive!! and ofcourse it's FREE!!!

During a short questionaire, you'll be asked for your shipping info, and to answer a few (5) questions, and the answers are 2 ways to get a license, and True for all the other questions. This deal requires a Microsoft .Net login (or a MSN Messenger account).

If you don't have a hotmail, .net or MSN account you can create a free one using their supplied link on the page. It may not be worth you time, but for my buck, free is always great!! These drives usually sell for around $20 and up so it's a great deal!!!

Just thought you'd want to know.

No idea how big the drive is, but hey, free is free!!!!

I applied for one this morning, and only after I filled all the required info and sent it did I see the tiny disclaimer on the bottom of the page saying 'Offer applies to N America only' ...

It'll be interesting to see whether it arrives or not :hmm:

If it doesn't,would I have case against Bill for discrimination or something, I wonder :whistling: Micro$oft can't really cop out by saying the postage would be too much

Hehehehehe :devlish: .....

That reminds me about that Class Action Lawsuit/Settlement against MicroSoft, 2 years ago! I was supposed to get $150 back but that never happened either!

{OffTopic}Do you realize how much data MicroSoft must have on us all??
I usually don't enter such give-aways: Since MicroSoft already knows all my vital stats (probably down to shoe size and blood type), I did not feel any more threatened by releasing the private information they asked!

I tried on the evening of 4th and fifth March from the UK and got "page not found" messages every time.
Is the offer ended or have they realised and blocked it from the Rest-of-The-World?

I can't get the thing to work.
I click on the place, but lots of nothing happens.
I've been trying for three dys.
There's a java script:usb0; messge on the bottom left of the IE window
When I try the "Open in new window" rightclick option I get a "Page can not be displayed..unavailable" Message.
I am in the UK, so is that the problem?

which browser are you using? may be that you need an IE upgrade or to install/upgrade your java???? not quite sure....
Also... one thing I've done in the past to avoid such an issue, is add an "s" after the http in the url. It makes it so that you are going to the microsoft site via their secure server. Strange, I know, but hey, I've had it work alot on the ms site, even the dreaded "update page"

This thread seems to be running in two places.
( And I still can't register. I'll try my daughter's machine. Maybe it doesn't like my firewall or something!).
