| Time is correct here
@chefelf - they were having too many problems with Invision Board. Said that it might be conflicting with the RSS feeds, so they switched to phpBB. I guess everything is running ok now.

If you didn't already know it, I've been The Doctor (Morbius) for a very long time now.
Well, this new board would have no part of it.
I had to revert to an older name, but then the board would not accept my long used Avatar. Even after I shrunk it to only 5K it still rejected it.
That really sucks! Please take OFF that limitation.....we'd very much like to use the avatars we've used in the past. I know I sure would.
(obviously, trying to put an image in this text, doesn't work very well either
this is my second try)

| Sorry about that, but old server dies without warning and those that worked on it, worked their butts off to get us live by today....... if we could have notified all our members we would have, but the forums died and Chris and Steve worked with what they had to get things up and running again as quickly as possible. |
Thanks for that explanation, I was wondering why it all just disappeared. I understood it was a technical problem, but still, one wondered
Good job to get it up again, and a good job on backing up
But the PM:s in the in/outbox are lost forever ?

Hm...scrolling to the left and right. On the old board I didn't have to even with my realllly low res (sorry but its due to vision problems).
I noticed there is no "Remember Me" feature for the login anymore. |

Although I'm used to phpBB like most people are from the near past, switching from Invision to phpBB seems quite strange to me as phpBB has quite a number of security issues. Why not switch to vBulletin when the opportunity is there? My impression is that phpBB is outdated, and I'm not really looking forward to use it again. |

I agree with you but it is a tad late for that. |
