Updated Ff v3.0.1 to v3.0.2.
All Add-ons except Statusbar Clock were compatable
Found an unofficial update for that.

Pleased to get away from v3.0.1 as it crashed occasionally,
although it recovered everything to my last keystroke when restarted.

Download Firefox 3.0.2 in your language from
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

Ken,
You're just such a hard-luck kid! Laughing Laughing Laughing

FF has NEVER crashed on me. Rolling Eyes

If someone with 3.0.1 will just click help and then "Check for updates" , FF will update itself. NO need to download a new version.
Unless, of course you're going to put it on a CD and share it with friends. Wink

I get the daily newsletter from "Fire Hippo" and the FF 3.0.2 file was in there for download.
That's a great newsletter for those who like to snag some free software from time to time.

Enjoy your new FF.

Well I've crashed Ff 3.0.2...
This time I took a good look at the crash report and it had a bit about dictionary's.
Checking my about:config I saw a preference
intl.accept_languages was set to en-NZ
As my dictionary was the English English version this was possibly the cause this crash and possibly the Ff 3.0.1 crashes also.
So reset that preference to en-GB.

Very Happy

Ken,
You know I like to joke around with you.....Right Mate?

I hope you've found the reason for the crashes, so I won't have to jab you about having a screwed up computer. Wink Laughing Laughing Laughing

My success to a smooooooooth running PC is primarily due to my K.I.S.S. method of running my PC. (Keep It Simple Stupid!)

That is to say, that NOTHING runs on my PC unless it's absolutely necessary.

Read some guys HJT logs sometime. Most of them read like Horror Stories, complete with the vampires, ghouls and zombies!

When someone's RUN list, won't even fit on my 19" screen, I know darn'd well, he's in serious trouble. Twisted Evil

My own HJT log will fit in this text box. There are only three items in my RUN list.

Just 'Keep It Simple' and your computer will love you for it.

Cheers Mate!

Do you mean "File Hippo"? I tried to find "Fire Hippo" and found nothing even vaguely related to software.
Confused

Of course I meant File Hippo.

When your dealing with an old Drunk, you have to ad-lib a little and then read between the lines.
Maybe this will help:

http://www.filehippo.com/

You surely don't expect me to be 65 and sober, all at the same time do you? Rolling Eyes

You expect too much!!!!

Well, try the Hippo anyway and see if you can't find something there of interest.

By the way...... does anyone have Windows PE?
What is it and how does it work? Just curious!
