Hello guys. I'm new in PHP and XML field and I give xml feeds as RSS feeds but I've got a problem. I want to display the news not in full but in shorter text e.g.,

One headline is very long, I want it in limited characters
eg
79 terrorists arrested in faluja (Iraq), in a military operation by US lead forces.

I want it this way

79 terrrorist arrested from faluja.....

Any help will be appreciated
