thanks,

RSS feed is just an xml-file served by a Web-Server. It can be created manually , see this wikipedia article to learn the file format. Or you can create a feed with a software like that one:
http://www.jitbit.com/rssfeedcreator.aspx

after creating a feed-file simply upload it to your web-hosting place and put a link to the file on a webpage. That's it.

Another option is to generate rss feed "on the fly", using server-side script (php, asp, perl) if you are familiar with web-programming and things...

I know it's an old topic, but since someone's just posted to it I might as well add 3 free RSS editors for anyone who is interested:

FeedEdit 1.01
Quote:
FeedEdit is an RSS 2.0 syndicated feed editor. Supporting all elements in the current RSS 2.0 specifications, it allows you to import existing feeds or create from scratch.

RSS Builder Home
Quote:
RSS Builder is an easy to use program to create RSS news feeds and podcasts for your web site. It provides a simple interface that lets you add topics, links, content, and enclosures, then publish the RSS (v2.0) feed to your web server, using the built-in FTP client.

SuperSimple RSS Generator
Quote:
ssRSS (Super Simple RSS) - is a RSS generation tool. As you might guess - it is simple to use. And as you might understand - it is simple by nature, so it does not support all RSS features (at least not yet).

Why another RSS gen?

I don't know. For some reason I could not find free RSS gen tool, which does not require 20M of .NET runtime, is easy to use and clean in interface. Finally I found this one, but it was abandoned by original author, Hunter Davis (http://www.hunterdavis.com/). It is far from perfect, but has some good basis I hope to polish.

Firefox & Thunderbird users also have an extension available which will allow them to create/edit feeds from within those Mozilla programs: RSS Editor 0.0.9.1

You can use Feedity ( www.feedity.com ) to create an instant RSS web feed online from any existing web page.
