Firefox master password encryption...I lost password...I cannot seem to reinstate the system to operate without the password...I've uninstalled and reinstalled and the feature continues as before...so, there has to be a solution, Embarassed probably simply stated in the faqs, yet I haven't found it....any help on this one?

Which password? If it is just FireFox, uninstall the program. Go into the registry and delete all references to F.F (back up registry first, of course). Then you should be able to install F.F fresh, from the ground up.

This might help: Master password - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

You will lose all of your stored passwords though. It's an inbuilt security feature to prevent someone who has access to your PC from resetting the master password in order to gain access to your saved passwords.
