Big Balls at Ball State: Flu Vaccine? Not so much...

A group of Ball State University students are worried a preservative found in a flu vaccine meant to keep you healthy could lead to harmful side effects.
Tony Farmer, president of Ball State's Truth Movement, has been leading his group in a protest against faculty in the Amelia T. Wood Health Center over the preservative thimerosal. Farmer says multiple studies indicate thimerosal, used in the flu vaccine Fluzone, can lead to Alzheimer's disease and autism.
Farmer believes the evidence found in the study is convincing, but not enough is being done to rid Fluzone of the potentially harmful preservative.

"The problem is, most people don't examine the evidence either because the FDA has convinced them it doesn't exist," Farmer wrote in an e-mail to DayWatch. "Some are putting more trust in their government than in their own eyes."

Logic:The Unvaccinated cannot Infect vaccinated if the shots Work

When students contract disease, vaccine proponents are quick to blame the
outbreaks on unvaccinated children. Yet, the official data tells a different story: a
majority of cases occur in fully vaccinated populations. Dr. William Atkinson,
senior epidemiologist with the CDC, admitted that "measles transmission has
been clearly documented among vaccinated persons. In some large
outbreaks...over 95% of cases have a history of vaccination." Similar problems
with vaccine efficacy plague other vaccines as well.

For example, in a 2003
outbreak of pertussis, 4 of every 5 people who contracted the disease were vaccinated against it.
In 2006, there was a large outbreak of mumps in the
United States; 92% of the cases were in people who were vaccinated against mumps.
Such data provides evidence that herd immunity — the idea that when
a proportion of people within a targeted population are immune to a disease,
transmission rates are reduced — may not apply to vaccinated populations.
Vaccination and immunity are not synonymous.

Authorities claim that vaccines won't work for society unless a large number
of people in the targeted population — school children — take them.

Apparently,
unvaccinated children are a threat to the group.
But this does not make sense.

By this reasoning, the unvaccinated — who are being coerced into taking the
shots — are somehow responsible for protecting the vaccinated.
How ironic!

If some students are vaccinated, that's their family's choice. If other students are
unvaccinated, that's their family's informed decision as well. Vaccinated students
take their chances hoping to avoid serious adverse reactions, while
unvaccinated students risk contracting the disease.

However, if vaccinated
students contract the disease, the shot was ineffective,
NOT the fault of
unvaccinated students.

Officials ignore their own ineffective vaccine, choosing
instead to smear the unvaccinated. Outrage should be vented in the proper direction — at those who developed ineffective shots and falsely promoted a defective product.

There's a popular medical thriller novel in which a global pandemic is intentionally set off by an evil plot designed to reduce the human population.
In the book, a nefarious drug company inserts live avian flu viruses into vaccine materials that are distributed to countries around the world to be injected into patients as "flu shots." Those patients then become carriers for these highly-virulent strains of avian flu which go on to infect the world population and cause widespread death.

There's only one problem with this story: It's not fiction. Or, at least, the part about live avian flu viruses being inserted into vaccine materials isn't fiction. It's happening right now.

Deerfield, Illinois-based pharmaceutical company Baxter International Inc. has just been caught shipping live avian flu viruses mixed with vaccine material to medical distributors in 18 countries.
The "mistake" (if you can call it that, see below...) was discovered by the National Microbiology Laboratory in Canada. The World Health Organization was alerted and panic spread throughout the vaccine community as health experts asked the obvious question:
How could this have happened?

1976: President Gerald Ford orders a nationwide vaccination program to prevent a swine-flu epidemic.

Ford was acting on the advice of medical experts, who believed they were dealing with a virus potentially as deadly as the one that caused the 1918 Spanish influenza pandemic.

The virus surfaced in February at Fort Dix, New Jersey, where 19-year-old Pvt. David Lewis told his drill instructor that he felt tired and weak, although not sick enough to skip a training hike. Lewis was dead with 24 hours.

The autopsy revealed that Lewis had been killed by "swine flu," an influenza virus originating in pigs. By then several other soldiers had been hospitalized with symptoms. Government doctors became alarmed when they discovered that at least 500 soldiers on the base were infected without becoming ill.

It recalled 1918, when infected soldiers returning from the trenches of World War I triggered a contagion that spread quickly around the world, killing at least 20 million people. Fearing another plague, the nation's health officials urged Ford to authorize a mass inoculation program aimed at reaching every man, woman and child. He did, to the tune of $135 million ($500 million in today's money).

Mass vaccinations started in October, but within weeks reports started coming in of people developing Guillain-Barré syndrome, a paralyzing nerve disease, right after taking the shot. Within two months, 500 people were affected, and more than 30 died.

Amid a rising uproar and growing public reluctance to risk the shot, federal officials abruptly canceled the program Dec. 16.

In the end, 40 million Americans were inoculated, and there was no epidemic. A later, more technically advanced examination of the virus revealed that it was nowhere near as deadly as the 1918 influenza virus. The only recorded fatality from swine flu itself was the unfortunate Pvt. Lewis.

History's verdict of the program is mixed. Critics assail Ford, accusing him of grandstanding during an election year -- it did him no good, because he lost anyway -- while kowtowing to the pharmaceutical companies. Supporters laud the ability of the nation's health bureaucracy to mobilize so effectively.

Those who remembered 1918 probably consider it money well spent.

Tamiflu Causes Delirium and Suicide in Children

Our government is trumpeting how on the ball it is to get its strategic stockpile of Tamiflu out to the public. What they aren’t boasting about is that their supply is about ready to expire. The other thing they aren’t explaining to the public is the risk of delirium and suicide for children taking Tamiflu.
During 2006 our government received at various points in the year 20 million doses of Tamiflu at a cost of 2 billion dollars to prepare for the avian bird flu pandemic that never came. The product has a three year shelf life, though I would wonder a little bit about how good it is that close to expiration.

Regardless, Tamiflu will only work, if it works at all,
on the first wave of individuals taking it.
After that, the Swine flu will mutate around it.

This resistance to Tamiflu or other anti-viral drugs will occur relatively quickly, and long before any vaccine is developed. Our government is very poorly prepared, contrary to their assertions.

It should be pointed out that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) added a warning label to Tamiflu back in November of 2006,
based on numerous reports of delirium and suicide mostly in children under 17.
Side effects occurred within 24-48 hours of taking the drug and included panic attacks, delusions, delirium, convulsions, depression, loss of consciousness, and even suicide.
Back in 2006 the FDA said ““We are concerned that when/if the use of this drug increases in the U.S. … there may be increasing cases of adverse consequence in the U.S.” That time appears to be now.

The revised FDA warning states, “People with the flu, particularly children, may be at an increased risk of self-injury and confusion shortly after taking Tamiflu and should be closely monitored for signs of unusual behavior.”
That is a very weak warning considering that three normal children jumped/fell to their death after taking the drug – one even leaving a suicide note. Other children were struck with psychosis, delusions, and paranoia – all in formerly normal children.
Our government is planning to push widespread Tamiflu use for millions of Americans, including children – and so far I haven’t heard one warning to parents about the actual risks of giving this drug to their children.

...According to a report in the May 30 edition of the French newspaper, Le Journal du Dimanche, the Sarkozy government has authorized spending of an estimated Euro1 billion to buy vaccines allegedly to combat or protect against H1N1 Swine Flu virus.

The only problem is that to date neither the WHO nor the US Government's Center for Diseases Control (CDC) have succeeded to isolate, photograph with an electron microscope and chemically classify the H1N1 Influenza A virus.

There is no scientifically published evidence that French virologists have done so either. To mandate drugs for a putative disease that has not even been characterized is dubious to say the least.

Even more bizarre is the admission
by the US Government's Food & Drug Administration, an agency responsible for health and safety of its citizens,
that the ‘test' is approved for premature release to test for H1N1 is not even a proven test.
More to the point, there is no forensic evidence in any of the deaths reported to date that has been presented that proves scientifically that any single death being attributed to H1N1 Swine Flu virus was indeed caused by such a virus.

European epidemiologists believe the deaths reported to date are ‘coincidental' or what are called opportunistic infections.

What we know conclusively is that the people who died often had prior respiratory complications of an undisclosed nature. People die every day with respiratory diseases.
In the USA alone some 36,000 flu-related deaths are recorded yearly with no undue panic or alarm.
Most are elderly or patients with lung diseases.

To date in all France , 24 people have been identified by health authorities as even having ‘symptoms' of H1N1. It is worth noting that the WHO and CDC list the symptoms of H1N1: temperature, coughing, headache, runny nose.
Hmmmmm.

Also worth noting is that in the counting of the more than 15,000 ‘confirmed' H1N1 Swine Flu cases worldwide the vast majority made miraculous recovery within three to seven days, just as in the case of a bad cold...

More and more it is beginning to appear that the scare about pandemic from flying birds or flying pigs is an excuse to justify mandatory vaccination with substances whose harmful side effects are demonstrably worse than any flu they should guard us against...

Two letters to the editor in the June 17, 2009 issue of the British Medical Journal warned of an
increased risk of death with influenza
from taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs),

which include aspirin (Bufferin, Bayer, Excedrin), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Nuprin), ketoprofen (Actron, Orudis), and naproxen (Aleve).

Death from influenza is from multi-organ failure (liver and kidney failure) and brain involvement (encephalopathy). In the first letter, Rokuro Hama, points out NSAIDs are well known to aggravate organ failure and there is evidence that the restriction of use of these medications is associated with a reduction of death from the flu.1

In the second letter, Tsunetoshi Shimazu, reminds the reader that during the 18 months of the 1918-9 influenza pandemic, 27 million people died worldwide.2

When treated with a homoeopathic medicine (without aspirin),
mortality was 1% or less,
but 5-30% of patients treated with aspirin in hospitals or in the armed forces died.

Eat right! Make sure you get your daily dose of fruits and veggies.

Take your vitamins and bump up your vitamin c.

Get plenty of exercise because exercise helps build your immune system. Walk for at least hour a day, go for a swim, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc.

Wash your hands often. If you can’t wash them, keep a bottle of antibacterial
stuff around. Wear a mask when out in public places and avoid going out in public as much as possible while the swine flu is spreading. Get lots of fresh air. Open windows whenever possible. Get plenty of rest. Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can.

OR …. You can take the doctor’s office approach. Think about it, when you go
for a shot, what do they do first? Clean your arm with alcohol.. Why? Because
alcohol kills germs. So…… I put on my mask, walk to the liquor store (exercise), I put lime in my Corona (fruit), celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies), drink on the bar patio (fresh air), get drunk, tell jokes, and laugh (eliminate stress) and then pass out (rest). The way I see it, if you keep your alcohol levels up flu germs can’t get you!!!!

The H1N1 (Swine Flu) Vaccine: My View

...if the H1N1 vaccine is so safe, why has the government already indemnified itself and the vaccine makers from any and all lawsuits that otherwise could be brought about by those whose loved ones are injured or killed by such vaccines?
That fact alone is enough to make me leery of any claims about vaccine safety. In my view, my local health officials and the health officials across the nation will be using children as guinea pigs, plain and simple, if they go ahead with their vaccination plans.

Why do I say this?
Let’s start with the ingredients found in the H1N1 vaccine. Among other things, it contains ingredients found in spermicides, cleaners, and cosmetics along with thimerosal (mercury) and squalene (MF59).

Thimerosal, of course, is at the heart of the vaccine/autism debate. Critics on both side still challenge each others' views on that matter. Given that mercury is a known, deadly toxin, my view is that it doesn't belong in anything administered to humans in the name of health.

As for squalene,
here's what Dr. Sharri Tenpenny, a leading vaccine expert, wrote about it:

“On first blush, squalene seems like a good choice for an adjuvant. Manufactured naturally in the liver, squalene is a precursor for cholesterol. In addition, squalene can be purchased at health food stores in its more commonly known form, 'shark liver oil.'

However, ingested squalene has a completely different effect on the body than injected squalene.

When molecules of squalene enter the body through an injection, even at concentrations as small as 10 to 20 parts per billion, it can lead to self-destructive immune responses, such as autoimmune arthritis and lupus.

“Several mechanisms have been proposed to explain this reaction. Metabolically, squalene stimulates an immune response excessively and nonspecifically.
More than two dozen peer-reviewed scientific papers from ten different laboratories throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia have been published documenting the development of autoimmune disease in animals subjected to squalene-based adjuvants.

A convincing proposal for why this occurs includes the concept of molecular mimicry in which an antibody created against the squalene in MF59 can cross react with the body’s squalene on the surface of human cells.
The destruction of the body’s own squalene can lead to debilitating autoimmune and central nervous system diseases.”
