I have a domain-name, and it seems like it is used for spamming - I get loads of mail sent to a random names in the domain (Catrnealisewaalker@mydomain.com etc.), and also returned mail etc. that seems to be caused by spam sent with email-addresses in my domain.

What can I do?
Both to handle my incoming mail better (a),
but also to fight spammers (Cool,
and preserve the "quality" of my domain ©.

I'm using a lot of different email-addresses in the domain, so it would be difficult to put a strict filter.
Returning returned mail doesn't make much sense?

I know there are ways to make it possible to verify that mail from mydomain.com, are from me...
Would that make sense?

Could it get my domain added to Spam-filters for a limited period of time?

Thanks
Olav

Hello,

Have you verified the spam is not originating from an unsecured mail server in your domain?

If you have, and the problem is still occurring, then someone is sending out mail and falsifying the return address with your domain name. Unfortunately, there is not too much you can do about this, since it is just like someone falsifying the return address on a piece of postal mail. The "good" news, though, is because the mail is not originating from your domain none of the anti-spam services will block it.

Regards,
