Pack of Dogs Rip Apart Alligator: Warning -- Not For the Squeamish!
Dr M says: Surprise!
This one is great for everyone who needs a quick pick-me-up … I challenge anyone to NOT smile when they see this photo!
I also love it because it’s a not-so-subtle reminder to always look past the obvious.
If you simply take things at face value, you may miss out on what the message is really all about!

nice one.
a couple of nights ago i watched a "back to back" of an early dr who......in fact the earliest dr ...william hartnell........it was the series in which the daleks first appeared.......they were defeated because they could be manouvered onto a "cloak" spread over the metal floor.....rendering them immobile and bewildered...........the clue to this ingenious strategy was ( apparently) the smell.....not unlike dodgems at the fair-ground
all this and wobbly cardboard scenery......
don't you just love it!!! .......( i did....first time round) |

Hehehehehe.... that and the 'special effects' death-rays painted onto the film
I must admit to being divided as to whether Christopher Eccleston or David Tennant is the better 'latest' doctor. They've both been excellent at it |

My favorite effect was once they had a "space ship" that was obviously a pencil (or pen) covered in tin foil! I still liked it - I think the lack of special effects meant that the story had to be (and was) better in order to keep your attention. Too many new shows are all effect and no plot!
Oops - gotta go, only 5 minutes till Torchwood. |

I think Dr Who (new series) must be one of the few series that still has good story-lines as well as updating the special fx |

SuperCrock ! Good name, I think. I watched the piece about it moving. My considered reaction to this tiny fragment was "Not quite as bad as 'Creature From the Black Lagoon' . . . which is today, I understand, considered as a classic!
Perhaps someday, in some mysterious way, Super Crock will have it's glory day, too !
Enjoy,
Bob
Yes, when I first (and only) viewing of Creature from the Black Lagoon was in a theatre (movie house) on it's first (and only?) release.
Except for his "I Led Three Lives", I don't think Richard Carlson or any of his flicks were ever nominated for anything, was he? |

The part of Philbrick was played by Richard Carlson. I Led Three Lives lasted 117 episodes. Philbrick narrated each episode and served as a technical
