| Try The Big Tomato for pizza by the slice. I don't remember the address, other than it was downtown somewhere. It is open late, very late.

| No kidding? I thought it was just a Des Moines thing. Do they have bizarre toppings available there also? celery, beets, peanut butter, etc? |

If you want to travel, there is a better place 45 minutes North, in Ames, called Great Planes Sauce and Dough Company.
This _is_ a hole in the wall, with the _best_ pizza I've ever had.
send me an e-mail at greatpizza.DeleteThis@mac-consultant.com

I'm assuming you all saw John C Dvorak's talk...

| I heard it wasn't so good. I'm still kicking myself for letting other obligations keeping me from Gmomedex! |

Dvorak's presentation was wonderful. Unless, you can't handle a little antaganization.
His ideas and thoughts made me wonder about where are technological path is heading. |

| I do admit that I only heard that from one source on a blog of someone who walked out of the presentation. I have only second and third hand info about Gnomedex and that's an empty feeling. |

I thought it was good, and so did the people I was with. Very humorous. There were a lot of people claiming that's not what they paid to see, but I think for the price having one presentation you thought was bad is no big deal. Perhaps the people that walked out didn't have a sense of humour or couldn't handle the truth? |

| I know I made the switch away from Macs about 5 years ago and haven't looked back. Even the ramblings on of Brett (what's his name?) on CFH couldn't make me want a Mac. |

| I don't really understand why anyone lets that kind of talk get under their skin. If Macs work for you, use them. I've used every OS out there (Well, many of them) and I don't have the religious fervor for any of them. |
