For at least a year I've been using this nice little digital (laser) PS2 mouse.
But for the past couple of days, every time I tried to crop a picture, I'd start to form the crop-box and it would go just so far down the picture and then disappear. I'd start over and sometimes get the picture cropped and sometimes NOT.
I've got to tell you, that's really frustrating.
Well, today in total frustration I looked around the house for another mouse.
I found a Microsoft digital, USB mouse, plugged it in and cropped a series of pictures with NO problems at all.
Somehow, my old mouse was loosing the crop-box when I'd try to extend it down the page.
Every day, on a help forum somewhere, a person complains of a problem that could very easily be caused by a faulty mouse. The problems range from something as simple as the problem I had, to total system Crashes.
I was called out to a customers house once, where the PC would just randomly crash (reset). That PC had been into three different shops for the same problem.
I installed a new mouse and the problem was gone. VOILA!
Never discount the mouse if you're having weird problems with your computer.
Y'all have a great day now, Y'hear?
