Have you checked with the QTTBar author? Perhaps the problem is fixed in a newer version.

Hey Guy (and others), apologies for apparently ignoring this thread ... I'm 'subscribed', but for some reason was not being notified of new posts, so I thought that it was dormant!
I've got your toolbar image and will have a look as time allows ... but don't get your hopes too high, too soon ... I'm an ordinary user, like you, not an expert ... and have a new baby boy arrived just a couple of weeks back, so I'm usually either involved with him and mum, or fighting sleep:-)
