[indent]Hello,

Well, this problem is affecting my computer's ability to play sounds, and for the webcam to work at all. I get a message when I try to do either, at boot up, when installing drivers trying to fix the problem, through out the day pretty much. The error message is:

"Found New Hardware Wizard

Cannot install this hardware.

There was a problem installing this hardware:
Microsoft Streaming Service Proxy

An error occured during the installation of the device.

The required section was not found in the INF"

The Microsoft Streaming Service Proxy can be replaced with: BDA Slip De-Framer. I have installed the drivers for my audio, and my webcam and neither are working. My technoligy inclined uncle and I spent some time on the matter yesterday, but could not seem to get it. My computer was recently down, harddrive was fried, I purchesed a new one, we used one of his spare copies of Windows XP Professional. Could the problem be missing files in the operateing system as a result of that disc?

I am a thirteen year old, so when replying, consider that fact please, but also do not assume I'm an idiot when computers (or skateboarding haha:P) are involved.
