I have many MP3 archives Which I recorded using Audacity. They average about 45 minutes and include 10 trax, each ending up with a DJ reading off the Artists' names & track titles. I can create a text file, typing in the data & saving the file so I can open it and copy the list to the clipboard. I can then enter the list into the file using Winamp (which I LOVE!), then the list can be viewed in either Winamp or WMP. I just figured this out, and it seems to me that this makes the archive a great deal more valuable, because we can find out what's in the playlist w/o having to listen and maybe go to the trouble of skipping around inside the file to find out what tunes are contained within.
Now to my question: Windows Explorer (My Computer) can display a 'comments' column for each file, but the field is not large enough to contain the entire list; it gets truncated by about half, depending, of course, on the no. of characters involved. So is there a way to enlarge the field in order to accomodate more data?
