CloneMaster searches for TRUE duplicate files (byte for byte), it does not find duplicates by filename, date, size or CRC. It does so by comparing the file data itself ensuring 100% accuracy. CloneMaster uses a special algorithm that makes the scan extremely fast. It is as fast as your drives can deliver.
Dual-Pan view of duplicate files: All of the duplicate files are listed in a tree (explorer like) in the left pan, and when you select a file or folder, the duplicates of your selection will be listed in the right pan in a list view (not a tree view) so you can sort the list in any way you like. This makes it very easy for you to select files for deletion.
CloneMaster let you find duplicates in multiple paths, backups drive, drives (Hard drive, Floppy, USB Stick, Jaz, ZIP, CDROM, DVD, Network drives, etc.). It can scan files with size over 2GB. 32bit is something of the past, CloneMaster handles 64bit file size.
Export and Print fonction will let you copy the list of duplicates to the clipboard and import the list into Excel, Word or any other programs for analysis, editing and printing.
The system context menu (using the right mouse click) allow you to preview files, view the properties, delete etc. Before the scan you can Disable or Enable the Hidden files and folders, and include the Pause/Resume scan function.
