| I'm trying to host my own dedicated Call of Duty server on Windows XP. I'm having trouble getting maps to rotate. Does anyone out there have a good source on how to host. Or even better, does someone have a sample CFG fileI can look at? Also, what parameters do you put on the command line in the shortcut?

Hehehe, I solved problems like these easily.
I seem to be a born leader...
Some friends of mine asked me to set up a network for them so they could kill each other in Quake, Total Annihilation or Unreal Tournament or some other game...
Since I'm a reel boon at this, I just replied: "OK, but only if you give me all the necessary info and tools for it"
That was 2 weeks ago. Since they think that straight and crossover cable is the same type of cable and playing with their own PC's doesn't require NIC's, I can rest peacefully.
You should have seen the smile on their faces when I pronounced IPX and TCP/IP. |

| Well, I got it to work. All of the websites I visited showed one map listed on each line. It was supposed to just rotate through the maps. WRONG!!! The maps all need to be listed on one single long line. Once I put them on one line .... everything worked out fine. |
