I think this may well be my first post.. if so I am sorry to be begging instead of helping, but lockergnome seems to find my solutions before I do on most things..

1) I use Sunbird from the Mozilla folks.. (it rocks.. trust me)
2) I have a Sony PEG-UX50 Clie..
3) Point 1 & 2 do not like each other..

Clie uses Palm desktop (yuck..) and the formats it will export to are DBA, and import from DBA and VCS.

Now for probably well known reasons and good intentions Sunbird only SAYS it can import from icalendar (all Mac guys take a breath.. I run XP) and outlook's "Comma Separated Values".

I say to myself.. surely I am not the only person in the wide world who has discovered that he can't sync his calendar with his PDA..

The Sunbird/Calendar/Lightning/... whatever project page says as plain as day NO we don't sync with palm YET. (its not capitalized.. but maybe it should.. dunno..)

I am really involved into using a portable version of Sunbird, so syncing remotely... Not a big deal to me.. but this whole.. Clie-no-workie thing is giving me headaches..

SO ==> anyone who knows of a bridge between these formats OR!!!

some other calendar application.. (NOT OUTLOOK) that can do what my clie requires..

any help earns you a cookie.. and if I have forgotten something maybe 2, read that, 2 cookies..

(and my eternal thanks.. and knowledge that I will NOT be pulling my hair from my head in frustration..)

Hello,

You might want to check with Boris Zakharin, the author of the Dawn address conversion program for email clients and the Palm Desktop software, to see if he knows of a project similar to his but for calendaring applications.

Regards,
