One of the most important things you can do to optimize and promote your blog is to use tags. Many web sites use tags to help users organize information. Technorati is probably the most famous for using tags along with del.icio.us and Flickr. Many blog systems already categorize posts which Technorati can recognize when you ping it. The Yahoo My Web is similar to del.icio.us. I have used it some weeks now...

I started using Technorati tags and also added links to each blog entry on my affiliate marketing blog inviting people to bookmark at delish or to DIGG it.

My blog is #1 on all the search engines so gets pretty good traffic, but I am always looking for more. Wink
