A couple of years ago I had a trial of an app that let you manipulate your PDA files on the PC. Something like Filez, but ran on the PC. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

I have a Palm TX right now and it would be handy to be able to do this at times, with all due caution, of course Smile

TIA

Filez, a free app, is still available but hasn't been updated in years.

No, that's not what I meant. I love Filez and use it for LOTS of stuff, but the app I saw treated the SD card as another drive, and I could explore it on my PC just like any other drive. Or like a photo card, for that matter.

Thanks, tho

I've been using Card Reader from Mobile Stream. Not freeware but you can download a demo for them http://www.mobile-stream.com/cardreader.html or from PalmGear. You cannot say read a *.pbd file but you can move files, add pictures to the SD card with it.

PdaReach is the program you want. It is sold at www.junefabrics.com

The is also a program (I think) sold by motionapps.com that will do something very similar.

The PdaReach program is a really good program. They also, have a program PdaNet that allows you to use a Treo (or a windows mobile phone device) as a modem for internet connections.
