Can't seem to get rid of this virus "aboutblank". My internet homepage keeps changing to it. Can anyone help me through this. I already have highjack this and killbox.

You still don't have the needed software to get rid of this little bugger.
Go to my website (see the link in my signature line) and download my list of favorite security URL's. [ However, you do have McAfee and that's as worthless a security program as Spider Solitaire. Delete it,,,,then get AVG 7 FREE and you'll have a safe and secure PC.]

Then go to the sites and download, install and run AdAware SE/Personal, Spybot Search & Destroy and Spyware Blaster.
Also, get the instructions for installing and running Spybot. It won't work right unless you set it up right.

Once installed on your computer, you need to get updates for all the programs.
The best habit to get into is to check for updates to all your security programs on a DAILY basis.

Most of your problem comes from Cool Web Search, and AdAware and Spybot will take care of that.

After looking over your HT log again, I'm wondering if you have read it yet.
Look at all those lines beginning with "4".
Those are all the programs starting up every time you Power-ON your PC.
The first four (4) on the list are required, after that it gets pretty iffy. Some things are absolutely NOT needed and should be just shut off (permanently).

There is a special page where you are supposed to post HT Logs to get a Guru's help with disabling things. You may want to try that.

When I see about.blank on a 98 or ME machine, I groan. Is the data backed up? I'm gonna format and reinstall rather than spend 6 hours trying to get rid of it. MS Antispyware does the jop on 2000 or later machines along with aboutbuster, hijackthis,cwshredder,adaware and spybot. I'd really love to catch about.blank guy and have at him for 10 minutes or so. Then again, he's made a bit of money for me.
