Hi!
RSS Calendar recommends a list of of news aggregators and RSS displayers on line. I tried their NewsIsFree because it is free (entirely so, allegedly, for one trial month), because it allegedly works with my iMac, and because I was desperate to find a client to test my feed emanating from RSS Calendar. As to RSS Calendar, it is working tho not designed for the use to which I'm putting it - an advance calendar I call Political Events - where I can schedule upcoming votes worldwide for national parliaments and presidents, etc. I have set it to rolling one-month ahead notice of scheduled events. And it works! on my blog on Blogger. I also briefly got NewsIsFree to carry this feed (receive this feed) - I don't know the lingo. Maybe you could help me here too.
Should I be saying "feed (source)" and "host" in contrast to "feed receiver" and "client"?
The trouble with NewsIsFree is that every time I go back to it online, I have to try to re-register the feed from RSS Calendar. It's not holding from visit to visit, and it's wasting lots of my time. And it's hard to interpret the instructions (which don't stick in my mind from visit to visit). I'm thinking of giving up. Does anyone have better experience with this RSS online client, NewsIsFree?
