I would guess that a lot of the people going will be staying at the Savery -- whats the fun of going to a convention without staying at the hotel for all the after event parties, and good times? :-)

Hello all! Just to let you know, the Renaissance Savery has booked nearly 140 rooms for Gnomedex each night, so there will be plenty of friendly faces throughout the hotel!

B) I was going to stay at the Savery, but I am arriving earlier (23rd)and leaving after (28th) the special room rate ($79.00). So instead of changing hotels I just booked at the "Starlight Village Best Western" for the whole trip.
See everyone in about a week.... |

Actually Orbitz had the same price of $79 as the standard rate for the Savery. We booked using Orbitz - lousy double bed - but we'll deal. We have also confirmed twice by phone with the Savery that this rate for the room & double occupancy is in fact valid.
Add myself and my girlfriend to the list of those staying at the Savery. |

| I'm really looking forward to this weekend. The last similar event I remember going to was in Philadelphia back in '79? Adam Osborne gave an interesting speech on the future of computing! Oh what little we knew then! |
